Welcome to the Scalable Security Research Lab

The Scalable Security Research (SSR) Lab in the Division of Computer Science & Engineering at Louisiana State University investigates how cybercrime operates at scale and design defenses that work in practice. We study abuse across the web and modern communication platforms through large scale measurement, machine learning, and systems security. By combining empirical analysis with system building, we develop deployable detection, warning, and mitigation technologies that address real world security threats.
